I'm a security kind of guy. Big, quiet, good natured, eminently non-violent, but carrying the presence of someone who may been to prison before.

Tue, July 31, 2007 - 1:57 PMSecurity has several different functions. Naturally we will need someone at the door. No single males and if a participant even looks like he/she may be under 18, ID will be required. During the event we cannot allow any minors to even come in and spectate. It has never been an issue, but if a participant were in an "altered state of mind" and became uncomfortable with their partner, well No means NO and it is our job to make certain that we protect our participants. I am having some "unique" shirts made for the security team. They will be in L and XL. If you need something larger, let me know.

Wed, August 1, 2007 - 6:58 PMI'm a large to extra large more to the tall side, but my uniform is not as important as the job description. I've always been inclined to the black/white side when it comes to being a big guy at the door. Other times I find that a smile and very few words gets the job done.
If you need the help, let me know. I'm doing some stuff with the Boston crew on the night of the burn but, i'm not part of a camp and enjoy filling inat whatever camps need the hands.

That will be within the village of "Devils Workshop and Day Spa" located at 5:00 and Esp. We will be on the back corner, most likely at 5:00 and A. Ask for Tonya or Jack. -

Thu, August 16, 2007 - 10:34 PMYour stature really is not the deciding factor. It is about attitude. You have participated in the contest and that gives you a unique insight. We can't allow minors inside, no means NO etc. If there were a situation where size makes a difference, you would only have to raise your voice and you would have all the back up you could ever need. Judges and the Beaver Patrol Security also get some nice swag and bribes... :) Still a tough choice.
