Has the time, date and location for 2008 been set yet?

Sun, June 15, 2008 - 12:34 PMThere has been a date set as of yet. However, this is not unusual for our illustrious leader, Sunshine. He often posts the info at the last possible minute. He has been known to change the date ON THE PLAYA. I believe that only happened once, 06'. He is living in Canada and I understand that he has a new job that is taking up a lot of time. When I hear from him I will relay his words. He may very well post the info on this list so it would be a good idea to watch it. The head of the "Beaver Patrol" (read security) may take a break this year. If that is the case I will most likely take on that job as well as the other minor things I contribute to the event. I will be looking for volunteers. It is actually a fun job. I will keep everyone in the loop.

Fri, June 20, 2008 - 12:20 AMI can assure you that Vertumnus, Sunshine and myself have taken the comments about that issue very seriously. That will not happen again. I would also like to offer this suggestion, while Sunshine is the promoter of the event and he is always busy, I would personally like to notified of any improper behavior. Myself and my wife are always there early helping set up. Besides assisting with the GCBEC I am a staff member and take my job seriously. I will personally deal with such issues. My name is Jack, my wife is Tonya. She is hard to miss with her red hair.

Thu, August 7, 2008 - 8:51 AMIf you have looked on the BM calendar, the event is scheduled for Wednesday night. However, there is no location given. Getting the typical late start, Sunshine most likely has not secured a venue. It is getting late and soon he will be leaving for the Playa. I will no doubt see him there. If he does not post any info to this Tribe he will no doubt stop by my camp to let me know where and when. I will be at Brain Freeze / Got Stickers Camp. We are located at the NE corner of 4:30 and A street.
